Task 3 - Box Modelling

This JPEG is the final render of my hammer which I created using box modelling. To begin with I created a cube which was then adjusted to create the whole head of the hammer. I first created the front face of the hammer using the multishift tool. I then created a new polygon which was the face of the hammer head. I then used the multishift tool to extend the upper section of the rear end of the hammer head. I then created more polygons in the extended part of the hammer head followed by using the bend tool. With the bend tool I was able to bend the extended section of the hammer. I then used bevel on the underside of the hammer. When I had finished beveling the bottom of the hammer head I used the multishift tool to create a long cylinder which I would use to create the handle of the hammer. I enlarged the size of the handle at the bottom and rounded the bottom using the multishift tool, this was to stop the bottom of the handle being square.
